Alice Mawdsley’s Debut Book
The Traveling Sketcher: City, commissioned by Penguin Random House (publishing July 2026). The book was written and illustrated on location across several countries last year, which is the foundation of Alice’s speciality. The Traveling Sketcher: City teaches you how to draw on location in cities, inviting the reader to slow down, look closely and preserve your travel memories through drawing.
Alice lives with multiple chronic conditions, and through this book she hopes to inspire others to be creative and continue doing the things they love, no matter their challenges.
