Zipster x Alice Mawdsley - Ceramics Limited Edition Babygrows - Spring 2025

A lovely collaboration with the Amsterdam-based baby clothing company, Zipster.

This pattern was created using detailed on-location drawings made at Winchester College and the Chinese ceramics collection at the V&A Museum in London. Drawing in the museums with coloured pencils, I captured the ornate beauty of the ceramics collections - focussing on decorative motifs, forms and cultural symbolism. These drawings were later developed in the studio into a repeat pattern, to create a collection that celebrates traditional craft, art across cultures and vibrant visual storytelling.
