1-1 Illustration Mentoring & Portfolio Review

In celebration of the pre-order launch for my upcoming book with Penguin Random House, The Traveling Sketcher: City, I am reopening 10 exclusive mentoring slots.

A one-hour deep dive into your illustration practice, portfolio, or creative business strategy. To ensure we maximise our time, I review all materials 48 hours in advance and provide a bespoke presentation of my findings and professional roadmap for you to keep afterwards.

This includes a list of clients, how to contact them, next steps to develop your portfolio and a detailed dive into your current artistic work. For anyone at the start of their creative journey, the 1-1 session becomes an illustration fundamentals session as I teach you how to grow your current style and create plan that best fits your lifestyle and goals.

Booking your appointment is simple, and our team is ready to provide the attention, care, and expertise you deserve. Let’s get started -pick a time that works for you.

When choosing your time slot, it will then take you to a form to fill out your illustration practice. This helps me prepare your professional roadmap in advance of your session.

Education Support: I am committed to supporting the next generation of illustrators. If you are a current student, you may apply the code STUDENT15 at checkout for a 15% reduction. Please note a valid student ID will be required at the start of our session.

1-1 Mentoring Feedback

“I knew very little about different avenues where my style of art could fit. I am now able to visualise products and places where my sketches could fit - and that is big.”

— Intro Illustrator

“Alice noticed things about my sketches that made me feel seen, and appreciated, for my art and my style. Hearing both strengths and weaknesses of my style from an accomplished artist, helped boost my confidence.

— Editorial Illustrator

“The session was detailed, very well organised, while keeping room for spontaneous questions. The materials are customised and thorough!.”

— Editorial Illustrator

“I believe the most valuable aspect is receiving critique from someone I admire. It helped me understand that my work is ready to start pitching, and guided me on how improve my website to achieve the best results.”

— Surface Illustrator

“If a friend asked why they should book a session, what would you tell them? I would tell them that it's worth it! That Alice really spends time analysing my work and giving useful feedback.”

— Pattern Illustrator

“Thank you for not just the boost you gave me today but all the amazing advice and inspirations. I feel like everyone needs to know how great a teacher you are and how insightful your feedback was.”

— Character Design
